Transfer Your Dictionary and Shortcuts

Local Transfer, Not Automatic Sync

Weesper Neon Flow stores your dictionary and text shortcuts locally on each computer. They are not automatically synchronized between your computers.

To move them, export each item on the first computer, then import the corresponding file on the other computer.

Dictionary and shortcut import/export are available during an active trial or with active paid access. The required access must be active on each installation when you export or import.

Transfer Your Dictionary

  1. On the first computer, open SettingsDictionary
  2. Select Export and save the weesper-dictionary.json file
  3. Move that file to the other computer using a method you trust
  4. On the other computer, open SettingsDictionaryImport
  5. Select the exported JSON file, review the preview, then confirm the import

The dictionary import merges valid entries into the dictionary on the second computer. It updates an existing entry when the same ID has changed content, and skips identical or invalid entries.

Transfer Your Text Shortcuts

  1. On the first computer, open SettingsShortcuts
  2. Select Export and save the JSON file
  3. Move that file to the other computer
  4. On the other computer, open SettingsShortcutsImport
  5. Review any replacement notice and confirm the import

Text shortcuts use a separate export from the dictionary. If an imported shortcut uses a trigger that already exists, Weesper asks for confirmation before replacing that shortcut.

What Is Not Transferred

These two exports do not transfer general app settings, selected languages, microphone or hotkey settings, AI prompts, or transcription history. Configure those items separately on each computer.

Your license lets you use Weesper Neon Flow on eligible personal computers, but it does not enable cloud synchronization. See Using on Multiple Devices for the license policy.
