Check System Permissions
macOS
- Open System Preferences → Security & Privacy → Privacy
- Click Microphone in the left sidebar
- Ensure Weesper Neon Flow is checked
- If not listed, try reopening the app — it will request permission again
Windows
- Open Settings → Privacy → Microphone
- Make sure “Allow apps to access your microphone” is On
- Ensure Weesper Neon Flow is listed and enabled
Select the Correct Microphone
- Open Weesper Neon Flow Settings
- Go to the Audio section
- Select your preferred microphone from the dropdown
- Test with a short dictation
Still Not Working?
- Try a different microphone to rule out hardware issues
- Restart the app after changing permissions
- Restart your computer if permissions still don’t take effect
- Check for conflicting apps that might be using the microphone exclusively
