Microphone Not Working

Check System Permissions

macOS

  1. Open System PreferencesSecurity & PrivacyPrivacy
  2. Click Microphone in the left sidebar
  3. Ensure Weesper Neon Flow is checked
  4. If not listed, try reopening the app — it will request permission again

Windows

  1. Open SettingsPrivacyMicrophone
  2. Make sure “Allow apps to access your microphone” is On
  3. Ensure Weesper Neon Flow is listed and enabled

Select the Correct Microphone

  1. Open Weesper Neon Flow Settings
  2. Go to the Audio section
  3. Select your preferred microphone from the dropdown
  4. Test with a short dictation

Why can't Weesper Neon Flow access my microphone?

You need to grant microphone permission in your system settings. On macOS, go to System Preferences → Security & Privacy → Microphone. On Windows, go to Settings → Privacy → Microphone.

Can I use an external microphone?

Yes, select your external microphone in the app's Settings → Audio section.
