What is the Lite Edition?
If you downloaded Weesper Neon Flow from the Mac App Store, you have the Lite version — a simplified, free version with some limitations due to App Store sandboxing.
Lite Version Limitations
- 45-second recording limit — Each dictation is capped at 45 seconds
- Manual copy/paste — Text must be copied to clipboard and pasted manually
- Menu bar activation — No global hotkey; you must click the menu bar icon
- Limited AI models — Only Tiny and Base models available
- 50 transcription history — History limited to 50 entries
Full Version Features
The full version removes all limitations and adds powerful features:
- Unlimited recording duration
- Global hotkey activation (Option+Space)
- Automatic text insertion at cursor
- Advanced AI models (Small, Medium, Large)
- Unlimited history with full-text search
- Custom dictionaries and text snippets
- Statistics dashboard
